Dhangadhi, Nov. 20: Chairman of the CPN (Unified Socialist) Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that the problem facing the Supreme Court should be resolved at the earliest.
Speaking with journalists in Dhangadhi on Thursday, Nepal said the recent meeting of the ruling coalition had made a common opinion to find a prompt solution to end the crisis and deadlock that have been plaguing the Supreme Court for the past two weeks.
Nepal, who reached Dhangadhi to inaugurate the office of the party in Sudurpaschim, said, "We have come up with a common view to resolve the problem facing the apex court at the earliest possible date," he said.
Former Prime Minister Nepal opined his view that Prime Minister Sher Bahadur should take an initiative to resolve the crisis. "The Prime Minister should take an initiative to resolve the problem seen in the Supreme Court," he said.
In another context, he also accused the CPN-UML of being a party of non-communists.
“The UML neither has people following the communist principles nor those inspired by the communist ideology,” he claimed.
"There are no honest, well-cultured, communist-minded and communist-inspired people in the UML," he said, adding, "The UML is becoming a party of non-communists."
He further claimed that the CPN (US) led by him was a party dedicated to the communist ideology and that its party flag, which was hoisted in Sudurpaschim, would reach Mechi.
He also expressed his confidence that the party would soon buy land and construct its own building for the province office, which is being operated from a rented house.
The building used by CPN-UML's provincial committee at Chatakpur in Dhangadhi has been taken over by the CPN (US).
Similarly, Chairman Nepal said that his party would launch a door-to-door campaign to distribute party-related pamphlets and that the party's slogan and details would be written on the pamphlets.
