PM to inspect Arun III Hydel Project, Kimathanka

Sankhuwasabha, Nov. 10: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to visit Sankhuwasabha to monitor the Kimathanka, Chyamtang and Phyaksinda, dam construction site of the Arun III hydro project, on Wednesday, November, 11.
The PM’s Secretariat has confirmed the Prime Minister’s visit schedule to Sankhuwasabha.
PM Oli will land at Kimathanka around 8 am and will inspect the Kimathanka checkpoint, informed Suman Shakya, chief of District Coordination Committee, Sankhuwasabha.
After the inspection of the checkpoint, Prime Minister Oli will be proceeding to Chyamtang to inspect the North-South Koshi Highway.
After the monitoring of the highway, the Prime Minister is scheduled to arrive at dam construction site of Phyaksinda Dobhan of the Arun III Hydropower Project, according to Shakya.
The Prime Minister will return to Kathmandu after the programme at Phyaksinda.
The concerned stakeholders of the district had held a meeting on Sunday for the arrangement of the Prime Minister’s visit.
Upon arrival at Kimathanka, the Prime Minister will be received by the chairman of the Bhotekhola Rural Municipality, people's representatives and the locals as well.
Likewise, in Chyamtang, the Prime Minister will be welcomed by the Ward Chair and locals, and, in Phyaksinda Dobhan, he will be greeted by people’s representatives and representatives from Arun III Hydropower Project, informed district coordination committee chief Shakya.
