Kathmandu, Jan. 28: Malayalam film Thirimali done by Nepali actress Swastima Khadka and actor Maotse Gurung has been released in India.
Gurung shared the film’s poster on Thursday informing the release and requesting public, especially the people of Kerala, to watch and support the movie. Thirimali has also been popular in Nepal as Nepali artistes are playing in major roles. Swastima Khadka’s item dance in the song ‘Rang Birang’ of the movie has also garnered love from the audiences.
Meanwhile, the song’s video was found to have misused the photos of Nepali actresses Aditi Budhathoki and Jasita Gurung. After the controversy, the producer had removed the photos from the video.
The film, based on the story of three characters coming to Nepal from Kerala, has also been shot in Kathmandu, Pokhara and Mustang.
Directed by Rajiv Shetty, the film features actors including Bibin George, Johny Antony, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Hareesh Kanaran, Innocent, Salim Kumar, Anna Reshma Rajan, Sohan Seenulal, Azees Nedumangad, Nazeer Samkranthi and Unni Nair.
