By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Nov. 10: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) on Tuesday confirmed 1,420 new cases of COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley.
Of the total 2,736 new infections recorded across the nation, 1,420 new cases, 603 females and 817 males, were recorded in the Valley itself.
Currently, there are 16,686 active cases of COVID-19 in Kathmandu. The capital city's COVID-19 tally stands at 74,344 including 57,378 cases of recoveries and 280 fatalities.
Likewise, Bhaktapur has recorded 8,884 infections until now of which, 5,387 patients have already recovered while 73 succumbed to the infection. There are 1,224 active cases in Bhaktapur.
Lalitpur district has recorded 10,547 cases of novel coronavirus infection until now including 8,125 recoveries and 72 deaths. Currently, there are 2,350 active cases in Lalitpur.
