By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Nov. 10: With 2,736 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed on Tuesday, Nepal's COVID-19 tally has jumped to 199,760.
As many as 2,736 persons were found with the novel coronavirus infection in the last 24 hours, revealed the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) in its daily update.
Currently, there are 38,035 active cases of COVID-19 and 1,058 people, mostly those who had returned from abroad are placed in quarantine.
Meanwhile, some 853 COVID-19 patients, either receiving treatment at various health facilities across the nation or staying in home isolation, recovered from the infection in the last 24 hours. Nepal has now recorded 160,577 cases of recoveries until now.
Moreover, some 22 people succumbed to the novel coronavirus infection in the last 24 hours. With this, Nepal's COVID-19 death toll has reached 1,148.
