By Chitra Mijar, Sindhupalchowk, Aug. 1: A total of 30 people have fallen ill in Chapa, Melamchi Municipality-11, after consuming ‘Prasad’.
Bhagwati Nepal, deputy mayor of Melamchi Municipality informed that everyone who consumed the Prasad (offerings of fruits and food items made to God during special worshiping) had been taken to a local hospital.
The health workers have suspected that all those who ate the Prasad might have suffered from food poisoning.
