Kapilvastu, Mar. 12: A youth has been sent to jail on the charge of raping a seventh grader girl of local school. Yogesh Shrestha, 18, of Buddhabhumi Municipality-9, Imilia has been jailed for 12 years on the charge.
A bench of Kapilvastu district court justice Lokjung Shah issued an order for the same. According to record keeper at the court, Chinta Mani Sharma, other four boys involved in raping the girl are ordered to be kept in reform centre for eight years.
The 14-year-old girl was frequently raped by them in January and February in 2019. The crime to light after the girl's parents filed a complaint against the boys.
