Hetauda, Oct. 18
Chief Minister (CM) of State-3 Dor Mani Paudel’s dream of establishing a multi-technical College is in the verge of becoming true.
Construction work of Nepal-India friendly Multi-technical College has already begun in Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City-6.
Also, preparations are underway to lay the foundation of the college in a few days, informed the State-3 office of the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT).
Paudel had been striving for establishment the college since he was mayor of Hetauda Municipality. After he became the CM, his vision, which dates back to 1997, is finally going to be realised.
An agreement to establish the College as a symbol of friendship between Nepal and India was signed in February 16, 2010, when former President Ram Baran Yadav paid a visit to India.
However, the agreement had not been implemented for a long time.
“We have started the construction of the College because of the initiative and inspection of CM Paudel,” said Krishna Bahadur K.C., Chief of the State-3 office of the CTEVT. “The infrastructure for the college will be constructed in the leadership of the Indian Embassy, Kathmandu, itself.”
