By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Sept. 23: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) on Wednesday confirmed seven COVID-19 related deaths.
Seven persons, six males and a female, succumbed to the novel coronavirus infection in the last 24 hours, revealed the daily report released by the MoHP today.
An 86-year-old male of Jhapa, a 50-year-old male of Siraha, a 68-year-old female and a 16-year-old male of Kathmandu, a 74-year-old male of Lalitpur and two males aged 64 and 39 of Bardiya, who were infected with the SARS-CoV-2, died while receiving treatment at various health facilities across the nation.
With this, the COVID-19 death toll of Nepal has reached 436 and the death rate stands at 0.64 per cent.
