By TRN Online, Kathmandu, July 5: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 30 new cases of COVID-19 in Kathmandu valley on Sunday.
Of the 30 cases, 27 are from Kathmandu, two are from Lalitpur and one is from Bhaktapur, informed Dr Jageshwor Gautam in the daily press briefing.
On Thursday, 32 cases of virus infection were detected in the valley and 17 were detected on Wednesday.
Earlier, on June 15, 18 and 25, MoHP had confirmed 20 cases of COVID-19 in the capital city.
Meanwhile, 293 COVID-19 cases were confirmed by the ministry today, taking the national COVID-19 tally to 15,784 including 6,547 cases of recovery and death cases.
