By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Sept. 24: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) on Thursday confirmed 17 COVID-19 related deaths.
As many as 17 persons, five females and 12 males, succumbed to the novel coronavirus infection in the last 24 hours, revealed the daily report released by the MoHP today.
A 55-year-old female of Morang, a 78-year-old male of Jhapa, an 81-year-old female of Sunsari, two males aged 68 and 70 of Dhanusa, a 65-year-old male of Rautahat, a 73-year-old female and an 85-year-old male of Bhaktapur, an 82-year-old female and three males aged 75, 79, 80 of Kathmandu, a 32-year-old female of Dhadhing, a 39-year-old male of Tahahun, a 50-year-old male of Kapilvastu, a 39-year-old male of Dang and a 55-year-old male of Nawalparasi, who were infected with SARS-CoV-2, died while receiving treatment at various health facilities across the nation.
With this, Nepal's COVID-19 death toll has reached 453 and the death rate stands at 0.65 per cent.
