By Our Correspondent, Sarlahi, Feb. 25: Locals of Lalbandi Municipality-14 of the North Chure area in Sarlahi, of late, are living with threat of wild tigers.
A week ago, a wild tiger spotted in the Daini Khola started attacking humans and domestic animals.
According to the locals, the tiger, so far has injured a man and killed two cows and six goats.
Due to the attack, Dudraj Tamang, 24, of Daini Khola has been seriously injured. He is undergoing treatment in a Kathmandu-based hospital.
According to Subai Singh Blon, Ward chief of the Municipality, villagers were scared by the frequent attacks of the tiger.
Daini Khola residents are unable to sleep due to the fear of tiger, said Sansar Singh Dong.
