Kathmandu, Dec. 7: Chairman of CPN (Maoist Centre) Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has said his party was engrossed on developing new thoughts by uniting people in the country.
Chair Prachanda said this while welcoming the new entrants in the party amidst a programme at Khumaltar, Lalitpur on Tuesday. He welcomed the cadres of CPN UML and Janata Samajbadi who defected to the CPN (Maoist Centre). Dahal argued that new ideals were imperative to give new direction to the country. "It is time to make Maoist Centre strong. We're attentive to ensure socialist movement in Nepal," he added.
According to him, the Maoist Centre waged struggle for the identity and rights of Madhesi people. But, in the middle, the Madhesi people were pushed to obfuscation. There is however a gradual wave for Maoist Centre in Madhes, he asserted.
The Maoist Center Chairman further said he was writing a report on how the debate on socialism in Nepal could be fostered and condition of Nepalis elevated. He also assured that the new political leaders and cadres would be given proper responsibility. Newly two dozens of district leaders and cadres of UML and Socialist Party joined the Maoist Centre.
