A memorandum demanding black-topping of the damaged road in Naya Road Chowk of Sarlahi was submitted to Minister for Physical Infrastructure Raghubir Mahaseth on Sunday.
The memorandum was submitted by Sita Ram Pokharel and Shambhu Mainali, Ward Chairs of Hariban Municipality-7 and 10.
Receiving the memorandum, Minister Mahaseth assured the locals that he would give direction to the concerned authorities to complete the black topping by December 1.
The locals have been facing difficulties due to damaged road at Naya Road Chowk, which falls under the East-West highway.
