By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Jun. 2: The government has decided to administer the Vero Cell vaccine provided by China under grant assistance to people aged 60 to 64.
A meeting held under the Chairmanship of Secretary of the Ministry of Health and Population on Wednesday took the decision to this effect.
The meeting has also decided to begin the vaccination drive for 60 to 65 age groups from June 8.
Similarly, a decision has been taken to provide the vaccine to people above 18 years of age in the Nepal-China border area, if the vaccine remains in surplus.
A total of 800,000 doses of Vero Cell vaccines provided by China under grant assistance had arrived in Kathmandu on Tuesday.
