By TRN Online, Kathmandu, June 1: An understanding has been made to form the Constitutional Bench on seniority basis of the justices in the Supreme Court.
Such an understanding was made in a meeting today between Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher JB Rana and office bearers of the Supre Court Bar Executive Committee.
Purna Man Shakya, Chairman of the Supreme Court Bar, informed the journalists that an agreement has been reached in the meeting to amend the rules so as to form the Constitutional Bench on the basis of the seniority of the justices in the SC.
Shakya said that understanding was made to change the rules by a full bench of the SC within a week.
