By Siraj Khan, Nepalgunj, Dec. 7: Two COVID-19 patients brought from Bardiya and Kanchanpur for treatment in Banke died on Monday morning, informed the COVID-19 Crisis Management Center, Banke.
A 73-year-old male of Suklaphanta-5, Kanchanpur died while receiving treatment at Nepalgunj Medical College Teaching Hospital, Kohalpur at around 10 am today. After testing positive for COVID-19, he was admitted to the teaching hospital on November 30.
Likewise a 72-year old male of Goruwa Rural Municipality-7, Bardiya was admitted to Bheri Hospital on November 30 after being infected with the novel coronavirus on November 28. He also breathed his last today morning despite undergoing various treatment measures.
The Crisis Management Center informed that the number of fatalities of those from other districts who had come for treatment in Banke had reached 64.
