Sarlahi, Dec 11 : The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority, Bardibas has held two police personnel red-handed accepting bribes from service seekers.
Sub Inspector Rajesh Kumar Singh and constable Manoj Kumar Yadav accepted Rs 50,000 in bribe from service seekers for facilitating transport of illegal goods into Nepal from Indian bordering cities, said the CIAA. Both of the arrestees are posted at the police post at Brahmapuri rural municipality, Tribhuvannagar along Nepal-India border.
They have been sent to the police office, Bardibas for additional investigations, said the CIAA.
