By Sukdev Basnet, Jajarkot, Sep. 14: As many as two people were killed and six were injured after a jeep met with an accident in Jajarkot.
The jeep was en route to Kalimati in Nalka Municipality from Khara, Barekot Rural Municipality-9, informed DSP Madhu Kumar Thapa of Jajarkot Police Office.
The deceased have been identified as Shanti Rokaya, 44, of Barekot-2, and Mangal Mahatara, 54, of Jumla.
"Six passengers who sustained injuries have been taken to Jajarkot District Hospital," said DSP Thapa, adding that the health condition of the two passengers was critical.
He said that further investigation as to the accident was underway.
