Chitwan March 24 : Two pedestrians died in separate road accidents in Chitwan district. The deceased have been identified as 42-year-old Buddhi Raj Sapkota of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-7 and Sajan Tamang, 40, of Dhading district, currently living at Bharatpur-10, according to the district police office, Chitwan.
Sapkota was injured when a motorcycle (state 3-03003 Pa 1634) hit him on Monday evening. Sapkota died while undergoing treatment at Bharatpur Hospital.
Similarly Tamang was injured when a Scorpio jeep hit him at Trilok Chowk on Monday evening. Tamang also breathed his last during his treatment at Bharatpur hospital. Police said that the Scorpio jeep is at large after the incident.
Motorcyclist Sabin Acharya, 21 of Bharatpur-14 was injured in the incident and is receiving treatment at Bharatpur Hospital.
