By Amrit Prasad Paudel, Beni, Nov. 29: At least two passengers have been killed while six others have been injured when a jeep met with an accident at Begkhola in Raghuganga Rural Municipality-1 in Myagdi.
Bhava Bahadur Bhandari, Chairman of Raghu Ganga Rural Municipality, informed that two of the passengers of the jeep were dead due to the accident while six others were injured.
There were eight people including the driver in the ill-fated jeep with registration no. Ga 1 Ja 7251.
The jeep was heading for Begkhola from Beni, district headquarters of Beni.
Nava Raj KC, police inspector at the district police office, Myagdi, said information about the accident was received but the identity of the dead was yet to be ascertained.
He said the police and the locals have worked together to rescue the injured and send them to the hospitals in Beni for treatment.
