Kathmandu, Aug. 21: Prohibited from conducting in-person examinations, the Institute of Engineering (IOE) of Tribhuvan University (TU) has decided to conduct the examinations of Bachelor of Engineering (BE) through alternative methods.
Issuing a statement on Friday, the IOE stated that it was planning to conduct the examinations applying both in-person and virtual modes from Multiple Choice Question through Microsoft teams.
The students have to login 15 minutes prior to the start of the examination and write answers with video camera and sound on, and will be denied entry if they attempt to login 30 minutes later.
In its notice, the institute has informed that the new measures were rolled out in light of the resurging coronavirus pandemic. Earlier, the IoE had published the examination schedule of first semesters of B.E\B Arch of all years with a plan to conduct them in September.
