Dang, Nov 23: The concept of inclusive development adopted by Tulasipur Sub-Metropolitan City (SMC) has developed trust among people.    

Mayor at Tulasipur SMC Ghanashyam Pandey claimed that people have felt Singha Durbar- the devolution of power- at their doorsteps to some extent due to inclusive development. He said the SMC has become successful to fulfil the basic needs of the locals with the developments carried out adopting the spirit of federalism.    

Development works have been conducted by formulating a 25-year long-term strategic plan and a five-year periodic plan in the sectors of health, education, agriculture, forest, environment, drinking water, electrification and social justice under the slogan 'prosperous Tulasipur for all forever'. The local levels were providing public service delivery actively.    

People's representatives of Tulasipur SMC are now connected with locals through different programmes including ambulance service in remote wards, Smart Daughter, free operation of cataract, operation of Tulasipur airport in four and half years, he added.    

Tulasipur Metro Hospital, modern bus park, vegetable and fruits market and ward offices are other features at the people's facility and convenience.    

Similarly, Tulasipur SMC is all set to provide smooth and quality health service to the people by upgrading all the health centres to five-bed basic hospitals, he shared, adding that cc- cameras have been installed at 20 different places of the city as per the concept of a smart city.
