Kathmandu, Apr. 23: Tribhuvan University (TU) has decided to conduct virtual classes in some COVID-19-affected districts, which the government has classified as worst affected.
Issuing a public notice, the Information and Public Relations Division of the University has asked its constituent and affiliated colleges of those district to adopt alternatives teaching-learning modes. Those districts are: Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Kaski, Jhapa, Sunsari, Morang, Saptari, Janakpur, Makwanpur, Rupandehi, Butwal, Chitwan, Banke, Parsa, Nepalgunj, Dang, Surkhet, Baglung and Mahendranagar.
In case of the remaining districts, the division has directed the academic institutions to conduct the classes in coordination with the local bodies by complying with precautionary measures.
