Sindhupalchok, Nov 23: Three minors were killed when the fire broke out at Jhankritol of Sursingh village, Helambu Rural Municipality-7 in the district. The casualties occurred as fire gutted the cowshed of local Sancha Tamang.
Those killed in the incident are six-year-old Manoj Tamang, son of Sancha Tamang, five-year-old Manish Tamang, son of Sukaman Tamang and five-year-old Dil Bahadur Tamang, son of Saila Tamang of the same village, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Dakshya Kumar Basnet said.
Police said the incident took place when the fire caught the dry maize and millet stalks kept inside the one-storied shed made of stone and mud with a tin roof.
