Rupandehi, Feb 7 : Three persons were killed and two others were critically injured in a road mishap in Butwal this morning.
The deceased have been identified as Sabin Chaudhary, 29, Govinda Chaudhary, 27, and Nabin Shrestha, 27, of Butwal sub-metropolis-13.
The accident took place when a car (Lu 3 Cha 4442) collided with a truck (Lu 2 Kha 9772) parked in front of Korean Technical College at Tamnagar.
The injured Bhagirath Chaudhary of Butwal sub-metropolis-13 and Anish GC of Butwal sub-metropolis-12 were critically injured in the accident and they are receiving treatment at Lumbini Provincial Hospital, said Spokesperson at the Lumbini Province Traffic Police Office, Mohan Bahadur Khand.
Five persons were travelling in the car, said police.
