Muglin, Oct 3 : Three persons sustained injuries when a truck plunged into the Trishuli River. The truck (Na 5 Kha 9622) en route to Kathmandu from Bhairahawa fell into the river bank at Ichhakamana rural municipality-4, Dharapni in Chitwan at around 5.00 this morning.
The truck had fallen some 80 feet off the road and was found half plunged in the river.
The injured in the accident are truck driver Rohit Tamang, 28, of Galchhi-7, Dhading and Ramkumar Lalchan, 19, and Arjun Rumba ‘Rajan’, 23, of the same place, the Traffic Police Office Muglin said.
Teams of Area Police Office Muglin and Armed Police Force Disaster Management Institute Kurintar had rescued the injured and sent them for treatment at Gajuri Hospital in Dhading, the traffic police office informed.
