Kathmandu, Feb 4 : An unidentified group has set a running taxi on fire in Kathmandu metropolis-26, Samakhushi at around 6.30 this morning.
The fire has completely damaged the taxi (Province 3 – 01 – 002 Ja 5881).
According to the Metropolitan Police Circle Maharajgunj in-charge DSP Roshan Khadka told RSS that a motorbike-borne unknown persons had torched the taxi. Police said that search for those torching the taxi is underway.
The Nepal Communist Party (Dahal-Nepal) Group on Wednesday had announced enforcing general strike for today in protest of the government’s move to administer oath of office to the chiefs and members of the constitutional bodies without parliamentary hearing.
