Rampur, Jan 29: Tansen Municipality in Palpa district has temporarily closed all its services except essential ones after office staffers contracted COVID-19.
A total of 23 staffers and people’s representatives were infected with COVID-19 in the Municipality leading to the closure of the services until February 3, said chief administrator Pitambar Pandey.
Last Friday, 32 staffers underwent a PCR test of which 23 came positive for COVID-19, according to Pandey.
