Kathmandu, Dec 31: The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has arrested suspended undersecretary Khagendra Prasad Rijal on Tuesday.
Earlier, the Ministry of Home Affairs had suspended Rijal over an alleged bribery that he had asked from an accused while he was serving as a Chief District Officer in Dolakha district.
Rijal was arrested to conduct further investigations in connection with the bribery case, CIAA spokesperson Pradip Kumar Koirala said.
