Karnali, Aug 20 : The District Administration Office, Surkhet, has asked Nepali citizens from the district, currently residing in Afghanistan, to come in its contact.
The Office has requested the locals from Surkhet stranded in Afghanistan to come in contact within a week for their rescue and repatriation.
Assistant Chief District Officer of Surkhet Rom Bahadur Mahat said that a notice has been issued to establish contact with the administration through their families if they wish to be repatriated from Afghanistan.
Mahat said that the administration has started collecting the details of those people going in Afghanistan through formal and informal channels for their rescue. "For this to materialise, the migrants' families should provide the details by visiting the administration office," Mahat said.
