By Lucky Chaudhary, Kathmandu, Dec. 22: Vice Chairman of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Bamdev Gautam and member of the party Secretariat Ram Bahadur Thapa 'Badal' held discussions at Bhainsepati, Lalitpur, today.
Senior leader Badal had reached Gautam's residence at Bhainsepati at 2:00 pm, informed Gautam's personal secretary Deepak Tamata.
"The leaders held discussions for around 1:30 hours," said Tamata, stating that the subject of the discussions was not made public.
Leaders Gautam and Badal have remained neutral regarding the ongoing intra-party rift in the ruling NCP. However, both Prime Minister Oli and Prachanda-Nepal factions have held meetings with both Gautam and Badal to lure them into their fold.
Both Gautam and Badal have been stating that they would be in support of the party's unity till the end.
