By Deepak Gyawali, Butwal, Sept. 4: Rupandehi on Friday recorded three COVID-19 related deaths in a single day.
According to the information given by Rupandehi Health Office, two males and a female succumbed to the virus infection in the last 24 hours.
A 45-year-old male of Siddharthanagar Municipality-8, who was suffering from the novel coronavirus infection, died while staying at home isolation on Friday morning.
He had returned to Rupandehi from Chitwan after getting his dialysis done.
Likewise, Kedarnath Sah, COVID-19 focal person of the Rupandehi Health Office, said that a 78-year old male COVID-19 patient of Butwal Sub-metropolitan City-8 died on Friday morning while receiving treatment at COVID-19 special hospital.
A 64-year-old female of Siddharthanagar Municipality-7 also succumbed to the virus infection on Friday morning. She was receiving treatment at Gautam Buddha Community Heart Hospital in Butwal. She was also suffering from high blood pressure, diabetes, kidney disease and pneumonia. She was admitted to the ICU on August 20.
