Kathmandu, Sept 4: The general convention of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) is scheduled to take place on coming November 13-16 in Kathmandu.
As shared, the convention of all districts would be conducted by September 16. This would set the foundation for the general convention of the party which is to endorse the party's new leadership and policy.
RPP's senior leader Rajaram Shrestha shared that the party has introduced a provision for the first time to elect general convention delegates from its active members.
The convention has begun today to elect a new working committee of the Kathmandu District. Candidacy would be filed today while the new working committee would be picked from the election on Sunday. The RPP has so far conducted its convention in 22 districts.
