Kathmandu, April 12 : Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security has advanced preparation for the setup of high-powered Training Academy in a bid to help create employment opportunities and enhance skills.
The plan has been expedited for the establishment of training academy so as to train new work force, develop integrated data management system and engage youths in employment in coordination with domestic and foreign employment providers.
Labour Minister Krishna Kumar Shrestha shared that the Lalitpur Bhainsepati-based commercial and skill development training academy will be restructured for training academy purpose.
Preparation has been intensified for policy and legal arrangement which is required for the establishment of the Academy, Minister Shrestha said, adding it was for delivering international standards training.
Secretary at the Ministry Ek Narayan Aryal said the Academy should be made full of authority for producing skill-based human resource as per the demand at domestic and international market.
