Kathmandu, Jan 12 : Social worker Devendra Pradhan was conferred with 'Chandragiri Hero of the Year 2020' for his outstanding contributions to social works in and around Chandragiri Municipality.
Former Chairman of the Council of Ministers Khilaraj Regmi provided Pradhan with the award on Monday at a programme organised by The Creator's Group.
On the occasion, Pradhan said that the award has further encouraged him to work for social services.
Likewise, boxing player Dipak Maharjan was awarded with 'Player of the Year 2020'.
Ramesh Kharel, Kulman Ghising, Anuradha Koirala, Sapana Rokka Magar and Dr Sanduk Ruit were honoured with 'National Creative Award 2020' for their unparalleled contribution in society's diverse sector.
