A meeting held at the Ministry of Finance on Wednesday has decided that the MoLMCPA would make necessary arrangements for the distribution of identity cards to the poor households within the current fiscal year 2020/21 and Ministry of Finance would manage required budget for the task.
According to MoF, the meeting has also decided to prepare a time-bound schedule including activities to distribute identity cards to the poor households within a week by the MoLMCPA.
Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel said that there was a problem in running relief and assistance programme on behalf of the state due to lack of data on the poor and deprived sections and the distribution work had not been fruitful.
