By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Jan. 30: The police have arrested two persons involved in the illegal trade of rhino’s horn.
Acting on a tip-off about the rhino horn being transacted in Kathmandu for Rs. 2.5 million, the police on Thursday afternoon arrested two from Chabel area of Kathmandu.
We have arrested Laba Khatri of Kathmandu and Dinesh Thapa of Bajura and have confiscated one rhino’s horn, said Sahakul Bahadur Thapa, Senior Superintendent of Police and chief of Metropolitan Crime Division.
Thapa said that the arrestees along with the confiscated horn were been sent to Division Forest Office, Hattisar.
