Phungling, Sept 17 : The Pathibhara temple in Taplejung district which remained closed to devotees for the past five months has reopened for devotees from today. The temple was closed citing fear of the COVID-19 spread.
Pathibhara Area Development Committee said that the temple was reopened in view of the declining threat of coronavirus and beginning of main season for Pathibhara visit.
However, the devotees are asked to follow health protocol as the risk of COVID-19 were not over yet.
Issuing a press statement, the Committee stated that the temple was reopened for homage, worship, meditation and prayer.
