By Deepak Prasad Gautam, Birgunj, Sept. 1: Parsa recorded three more COVID-19 related deaths on Tuesday.
Three COVID-19 patients receiving treatment at Birgunj Healthcare Temporary COVID-19 Hospital in Gandak Bukhari, Gandak Temporary COVID-19 Hospital and Narayani Hospital succumbed to the virus infection in Parsa.
A 60-year-old male of Kohalvi, Bara, who was admitted to the ICU of Gandak Temporary COVID-19 Hospital, breathed his last on Tuesday morning at 4:50 am, said Dr. Atulesh Chaurasiya, spokesperson of the Narayani Hospital. He was also suffering from diabetes.
Likewise, a 53-year-old male COVID-19 patient of Harpatganj, Birgunj Metropolitan City-20, died on Tuesday morning at Birgunj Healthcare Temporary COVID-19 Hospital. He was detected with the novel coronavirus infection on August 16 and was admitted to the hospital 18 days earlier.
An 80-year-old male of Buhari, BMC-24, who had tested positive for COVID-19, died on Monday afternoon while receiving treatment at Birgunj Healthcare Hospital. He was detected with the virus infection on August 29. Dr. Chaurasiya said that he was suffering from diabetes, pneumonia and liver disease.
Parsa district has recorded 54 COVID-19 related deaths until now of which 50 deaths were recorded in the last one month.
