Kathmandu, Oct. 5: Speaker of the House of Representatives Agni Prasad Sapkota Monday expressed his commitment to making the Federal Parliament lively and people-oriented.
Exchanging Dashain greetings at a programme organised by the Federal Parliament Employees Union at the Parliament Secretariat, the Speaker stressed the need for a lively parliament.
“The Parliament has extra-ordinary responsibilities now and I promise you all that I will try my best to make it livelier and more accountable to the people,” he added. Employees of the Parliament Secretariat, lawmakers and journalists were present on the occasion.
