Dang has around four thousand internet users. According to Nepal Telecom, 3,873 telecom costumers have their access to NT's ADSL internet service.
Of them, 1,451 are in Tulsipur, 1,280 are in Ghorahi, 107 are in Bijauri, 64 are in Beljhundi and 71 are in Hapure. The NT internet system has the capacity of providing the service to 4,170 customers alone in Tulsipur and 4,994 in Ghorahi.
Likewise, NT Tulsipur Office is also responsible for giving access to internet service in Salyan, Rolpa and Pyuthan districts. Its users in Salyan stand at 305. There are 449 NT internet users in Rolpa and 156 in Pyuthan.
However, the 4G service launched by the NT in several towns in the district has turned to be ineffective. According to Nepal Telecom, Tulsipur's information officer Dil Bahadur KC, the 4G could not be effective due to the problems in the center.
Meanwhile, expansion of mobile towers has been intensified in the district. A total of 12 NT towers were set up last year. Of them, four are in operation and remaining others are in the final phase for coming into operation.
