Kathmandu, Sept 6: The Nepal Railway Company Limited (NRCL) has expelled its daily wagers appointed by the NRCL's erstwhile leadership.
The workers have been asked not to record their attendance at their own will, according to a statement issued by NRCL managing director Niranjan Kumar Jha.
The persons who are told to be appointed at the office as daily wagers have been recording their attendances, it has been reported. Wages are not payable on the basis of attendances recorded at one's own will with the office not deploying one to work, read the statement.
It would take some time to operate the Jayanagar-Kurtha railway service due to legal and technical reasons, it has been said.
