By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Oct. 12: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) on Monday confirmed nine COVID-19 related deaths.
Nine persons, two females and seven males, succumbed to the novel coronavirus infection in the last 24 hours.
Three males aged 37, 87 and 90 of Sunsari, a 71-year-old female and two males aged 63 and 67 of Kathmandu, a 50-year-old male of Lalitpur, a 40-year-old female of Chitwan and a 74-year-old male of Rupandehi, who had tested positive for COVID-19, died while receiving treatment at various health facilities across the nation.
With this, Nepal's COVID-19 death toll has reached 645 and the death rate stads at 0.58 per cent.
