Kathmandu, Jan 17 : The Nepali Pratibha Pratisthan. a UK-based organization, has announced awards and felicitations to Nepali talented personalities for the year 2021.
A virtual meeting presided over by Pratishthan Chair Ganesh Rai decided to honour senior lyricist Prof Dr Krishna Hari Baral with ‘Pratibha Samman’ and young playback singer Ganesh Gurung with ‘Pratibha Puruskar’, informed its general-secretary Devendra Kheres.
The ‘Pratibha Samman’ carries a purse of Rs 50,000 and ‘Pratibha Samman’ bags a cash prize of Rs 100,000.
The organization that was established in the UK in 2008 has so far feted Iswor Manandhar, Ambar Gurung, GB Lugun, Bhaktaraj Acharya, Prof Dr Govinda Raj Bhattarai, Bund Rana, Tekbir Mukhiya, Pradhumna Shrestha (Sikkim) and Bhagirathi Shrestha, Benu uAcharya, Daba Gyalmo (Darjeeling), Gopal Parajuli and Dr Rajendra Bimal with ‘Pratibha Samman’.
Likewise, the Pratishthan has so far feted Nabin Bibhas, Kuwer Rai, Upendra Subba, Shrawan Mukarung, Momila Joshi, Rajkumar Dikpal, Bhpal Rai, BB Anuragi, Tika Chamling, Fulman Bal, Balaram Adhikari, Shuva Mukarung and Bimala Tumkhewa.
