By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec. 22: The central committee meeting of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) is being held at two separate places today.

Chairman of the NCP and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has called the central committee meeting at his official residence in Baluwatar for 9:00 am today, informed a source at Baluwatar.

After the meeting of the ruling party started being held separately, the NCP leaders have understood that the party is on the verge of being divided and only its official announcement is to be done.

Narad Muni Rana, central committee member told The Rising Nepal that he had already reached Baluwatar and the meeting would kick off at 10:00 am.

Meanwhile, another NCP Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has called the central committee meeting for 1:00 pm in the afternoon today. The leaders have informed that the meeting would prepare a work-plan to take departmental action against the Prime Minister.

Prime Minister Oli has said that the meetings and gatherings done by Prachanda's side couldn’t take departmental action against him and they were just showcasing a drama in front of the world.

The NCP, which has been divided into two sides after the Prime Minister decided to dissolve the lower house of the Federal Parliament, had conducted meetings separately on Monday as well.

The party leaders of both, Prime Minister Oli and Prachanda's side have informed that both sides would discuss the ongoing crisis and their plan for the upcoming days in today's central committee meeting.
