Kathmandu, March 16 : Nepali Congress (NC) is preparing to organize discussions in all seven provinces across the country on national education policy prepared by the party itself.
A meeting of the party's Education Department presided over by Chief of the Department and NC central committee member Hari Prasad Nepal took a decision to this effect on Monday.
The party has designated coordinators in all the provinces to conduct discussions on the national education policy.
As decided, Gokarna Baniya will coordinate the event in Province 1, Raghusingh Tharu in Province 2, Dipendra Sijapati in Bagmati Province, Chinu Ranabhat in Gandaki Province, Radheshyam Pathak in Lumbini Province, Dr Mahendra Kumar Malla in Karnali Province and Suresh Raj Joshi in Sudurpaschim Province.
Secretary of the Education Department of the NC Dr Krishna Prasad Poudel said that the recommendations would be collected from all the provinces after holding intense discussions.
