Kathmandu, Feb 23: Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has welcomed the Supreme Court verdict on the reinstatement of the House of Representatives (HoR).
Issuing a press statement this evening, NC President Deuba reminded that NC had termed the HoR dissolution by the communist party government led by KP Sharma Oli unconstitutional, undemocratic, authoritarian and totalitarian. The NC had also spoken against the interference on Supreme Court in the case sub judice, but the need of respect for the verdict.
"The NC welcomes and respects the SC verdict on reinstatement of HoR," Deuba mentioned in the press statement.
