Kathmandu, Sept. 7: The Nepali Congress has determined the slogan for its upcoming 14th general convention.

A meeting of the party's Information, Communications and Publicity Department set 'Enthusiasm, Unity and Transformation in Nepali Congress- Let's make the 14th General Convention Successful' as the slogan of the upcoming general convention.

The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Department Chief and NC Spokesperson Bishwo Prakash Sharma decided to organise 'Chintan 14th General Convention' on the eve of the general convention, said Department Secretary Dinesh Thapa Magar.

Group-wise discussion would be held on the issues—ideology, principle, nation, Nepali Congress, politics, youths, women, different communities, administration and social transformation in the programme.
Responsibility has been given to Deputy-Chief of the Department, Dr Suresh Acharya, for the coordination of the programme 'Chintan 14th General Convention'. Other different sub-committees have been formed for the preparation and management of the programme.

'Nepali Congress Broader Information Network' has been formed for the continuity of a technology-friendly Nepali Congress campaign. According to the Department, a code of conduct related to the network programme was also passed by organising all those involved in the party's technology-related activities and those involved in its social sites coordination.

A 27-member central mechanism and seven provincial mechanisms have been formed separately under the convenorship of the Department member and coordinator of the NC Technology and Social Sites Sub-committee, Er Dipesh Bista.
