By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Oct.20: The national vitamin A program this year has been scheduled for October 24 and 25.
According to the Department of Health Services (DoHP), vitamin A and albendazole have been scheduled for October 24 and 25, which was otherwise given on October 19 and 21 in past years.
In all 753 municipalities, children from 6 months to one year will be administered vitamin A capsules, and children from 1 to 5 years will be given albendazole or deworming tablets.
The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has requested not to miss their children’s vitamin A and albendazole capsules.
